Doesn’t Michelle Williams look so beautiful at the premiere of her new film Take This Waltz at the Tribeca Film Festival? People Magazine thinks so too and has named her as one of their Most Beautiful People of the Year! For her Tribeca premiere, I used Tom Ford’s “Plum Noir” Nail Lacquer. The deep plum color worked perfectly with her  pretty springy dress….buy the polish here.

Nail Art

Fun nails I did on my friend Stephanie.

Olivia Palermo Shoot!

I worked on a shoot the other day with Olivia Palermo for the cover of Shop Til You Drop magazine. She is absolutely stunning and walked onto set perfect from head to toe. Olivia is one of the easiest clients I have ever worked with as she knows exactly what she likes and only wears red nail polish!!! We used Essie’s “Fishnet Stockings,” which complemented all the clothes and her skin tone. Check out some behind the scenes pics below.

ps..I have been swooning over her J. Mendel dress above for years. If anyone knows how I can get my hands on one please let me know!!

Rose Bryne Shoot!

Here are some behind the scenes pics from a recent shoot I did with the gorgeous Rose Bryne for FLARE magazine. I used Essie’s “Brooch The Subject” to give her the perfect nude shade.

I just had the pleasure of working with the amazing Julia Louis-Dreyfus while she is in NYC promoting her new show VEEP on HBO. She is just as hilarious as you would think she would be and such a pleasure to be around…and one of the easiest clients! Julia’s go too colors are Essie classics: “Mademoiselle” for when she wants to be simple and pretty for daytime interviews and “Wicked” for fun shows like The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and partying the night away with Vanity Fair.

Spring is here!!!

I am so happy that Spring is finally here and we can move away from all the dark, drab winter colors. Its all about NEON this season. Here are some  colors for inspiration.

If doing straight neon nails is a bit too much for you, you can always pair a neutral with neon like I did for Stylecaster.com here.

Candice Swanepoel Behind the Scenes

The Candice Swanepoel shoot I worked on towards the end of last year was shot at the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City. I had no idea what to expect, but once I got there I could see why Harper’s Bazaar picked it as the shoot location.  It is one of the coolest buildings I have ever seen! Would make the perfect venue for a wedding if anyone is looking :) Check out some of my behind the scenes photos below.

Harper’s Bazaar Behind the Scenes

On one of the Harper’s Bazaar shoots I worked on we got to take an amazing field trip to the very tip of Long Island to shoot on the beach in East Marion. We got lucky with the most perfect weather and conditions. The shoot turned out gorgeously! Check out some of my behind the scenes pics below.

Behind the Scenes with Jessica Chastain

Check out some of these behind the scenes pics from the ASOS shoot I worked on with Jessica Chastain.

Nail Art

Sometimes I get bored of wearing just one color. A fun way to beat the boredom is to add some fun and simple nail art to your nails. Check out some of my nail art below.
